the idea
Rhizome is a working prototype of a social platform without a feed. Instead of scrolling, you explore a living map of themes.
When someone posts, AI reads it and places it in the map next to related ideas and opposing ones, so you see the whole shape of a conversation rather than what an algorithm picked for you.
The name comes from Deleuze and Guattari’s rhizome: a network with no centre and no single path through it.
Same posts. A different shape.
A living map of themes that you move through yourself.
A ranked list, chosen by a hidden system.
how it feels

Start with the whole map.
Themes instead of a timeline. Everything people are talking about, in one view.

Go as deep as you like.
Open a theme and its posts appear, connected to the ideas around them.

Meet the other side.
Posts that disagree sit close together, so you see both sides of a conversation.

Write something.
A post in any format. Watch AI place it in the map, live.

Feel the difference
Try Rhizome side by side with a conventional feed. It takes 5–10 minutes and ends with a short survey.
Write a post
In any format, and watch AI place it in the map live.
Explore freely
See what others have posted.
Talk to me
Share your thoughts in person.
This is the start of something bigger.
