Social media has amplified division and conflict. I want to build digital spaces where people understand each other instead. I like going somewhere new, whether it’s a place, an idea or a way of doing things, and I think innovation should move people forward, not just profits.
I grew up in Norway, learning mostly by doing, and by getting things wrong first. I still work that way.
At nineteen I joined the Norwegian Coast Guard, serving eighteen months as an artillerist aboard KV Nordkapp, patrolling the Barents Sea and the waters around Svalbard.
At BI Norwegian Business School I studied business administration, then moved on to a bachelor’s in digital communication and marketing, with a focus on artificial intelligence. After that I worked as a digital consultant at Geelmuyden Kiese, one of Scandinavia’s largest communications consultancies, building and running campaigns for major Nordic and international clients.
In 2025 I moved to Tokyo to join Keio University’s Graduate School of Media Design and its Invisible Future Lab. Here I work across design, code and research: my thesis project Rhizome rethinks social media without the algorithmic feed, and TAIKA, a bio-based fire-retardant coating I developed with two fellow students, won silver at the Biodesign Challenge Summit in New York and was national runner-up for the James Dyson Award.
The rest is easier to show than to tell. Try what I’m building, or get in touch.

Invisible Future Lab
Invisible Future is a Lab at Keio University’s Graduate School of Media Design, led by Shutaro Takeda. Its mission is to weave together the world’s knowledge and make the invisible, sustainable future visible. The lab works along three lines: Fusion, rethinking social systems across disciplines beyond conventional economics; Vision, making sustainability visible through data science; and Action, encouraging researchers to take risks and turn knowledge into new ventures.
